Twente Wine Tasting Days in Ootmarsum bring art and wine lovers together to celebrate all things delicious and beautiful
We had a lovely time walking around a busy Ootmarsum on Sunday as part of the Twente Wine Days tasting route. Beautiful wine barrels adorned the town, highlighting the unique attraction Ootmarsum, found in the depths of East Netherlands, is to the art world drawing art and wine lovers alike from all over the country, and even a few from neighbouring Germany.
The town was packed with shoppers and people out for lunch with a really vibrant atmosphere providing an excellent boost to the local economy (pre-Christmas), bringing people into the region, from near and far.
Buy a ticket, receive a glass, and walk around the town meeting people and tasting wine from all over the world plus a number from here in Twente – East Netherlands.
Friday 28th to Sunday 30th October is the last chance to catch the wine route in Ootmarsum, but head to their website below to find similar initiatives all over The Netherlands.
