Excellent meal on Saturday evening at the Seafood Bar, Utrecht and some of the best seafood I have eaten here in the Netherlands. Wonderfully fresh fish which was beautifully soft and cooked to perfection. We had the mixed grill followed by a pudding – lemon meringue cake and chocolate mouse. We will definitely return and try the soups as they looked delicious, and maybe even a lobster…

Seated near the back, beside the open plan kitchen, we could watch all the chefs at work in this fabulously efficient outfit. Centrally located in Utrecht, this stylish restaurant is perfect for food before a concert or the theatre. Fab wine list, including by the glass, was the icing on the cake.

Highly recommended!

Utrecht
Really central location and long opening hours make this the perfect stopover for a quick bite during the day; a long, lazy lunch; a delicious meal before an evening concert or that special night out with friends

Why not try one of their other branches…?

It seems I am not the only one to rave about The Seafood Bar. Jay Rayner, the doyenne of the food critics world visited the newly opened branch on Dean Street, London and agreed in his weekly column in the Guardian newspaper
