English Teacher
Clare Varney qualified at the University of Cambridge in the mid 1990s and subsequently spent many years working as both a teacher and leader of highly successful English and Music departments in a number of schools in the UK, helping people of all ages to craft their language.
Now living in Enschede, East Netherlands, Clare has a busy English teaching practice at the University of Twente where she teaches Cambridge English (B1 – C2) and Academic Writing, helping academics, PhD students and business professionals to use increasingly sophisticated English to enhance their career in the business and academic world. Clare is a native English speaker and fully registered in both the UK and The Netherlands.
In a similar vein, Clare uses her current experience writing as a freelance music critic for Bachtrack in London as well as her teaching experience over the years, to encourage others to optimize their writing talent and find their hidden voice within.
